One Hundred Seventy-First Entry

I had a brainstorm this week.

As of this coming January I will be studying hard core for my PE license test in October. I will not use any vacation time, except for Louis' wedding of course. My vacation balance will grow and grow.

After the test, there are plenty of holidays where I can get away without using vacation time(Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Xmas, MLK Jr. Bday). I should find out the results in January 2005.

In February 2005 I will have a huge vacation balance(as huge as a Gov't vacation balance can get). Approx. 2.5 weeks. Ash Wednesday is February 9, 2005, and Carnival is the huge party in the days preceeding it....two and a half weeks of vacation....just finishing the hardest exam in my life.......Mardi Gras!!!in Brasil!!!

I know it is still a little over a year until 2/2005, but the idea of going to a tropical paradise in the middle of our winter and partying like I've never partied before is really exciting!
